Canton Township and Canton Local Schools will host the Community Holiday Parade and Winterfest on Dec.

6 with 77 parade units starting at 4:30 p.m. at 45th Street and Ridge Avenue and ending at Southgate Commons, and Winterfest will follow at Faircrest Park at 6:30 p.m. with live music, food trucks, and Santa Claus — a growing tradition that will include a tree-lighting ceremony — marking the event's expansion.
