- ➤ Aultman College will host a free Preview Day (open house style) at 10 a.m. Feb. 21 next to Aultman Hospital, with tours and meetings with faculty. - ➤ Aultman Hospital and Mercy Hospital delivered numerous babies between Jan. 18 and Jan. 24 as local families from Canton, Alliance, and New Philadelphia celebrated new arrivals. The Repository

- ➤ The Building and Code Department seeks Council approval to demolish the long-vacant Ritz Hotel Apartments at 705 Sixth St NW; if approved (weather permitting), demolition may start late March or early April. The Repository

- ➤ Alliance quarterback Brendan Zurbrugg transferred to Walsh (an NCAA Division II team) after seasons with Oklahoma and Utah, saying he seeks more playing time and a stable college career. He expects to lead Walsh and help improve its upward trend this season. The Repository
