- ➤ Local wildlife experts recommend installing owl nesting boxes this winter to provide safe roosting spots for local species (including the threatened barn owl, barred owl and Eastern screech owl) as homeowners can mount them on trees, posts, or buildings. The Repository
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ A multi-state coalition of attorneys general settled with Menards, requiring the store to pay $4.25 million and clarify its rebate program after claims it deceptively advertised an 11% discount as future store credit (including in Ohio). Menards must implement remaining changes within 90 days. The Repository
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Kent State University announced women's wrestling will begin in fall 2027 as its 20th varsity sport, making it the first NCAA Division I school in Ohio to sponsor the event. The new program will offer more opportunities for female student-athletes. The Repository
