  • Fishers Foods clarifies that while its Jackson Township property is listed for sale, the nearly 100-year-old grocery business itself remains operational and committed to the Canton area.  The Repository

CRIME NEWS

  • A Canton man admitted to a felony for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and will be sentenced on May 1, with additional charges dropped as per his plea deal.  The Repository
  • North Canton police have provided additional details about an armed robbery at the Dollar Tree, including a physical description of the suspect.  The Repository
  • Alexander Randles, a former resident of Stark County and a 2010 Jackson High School graduate, was fatally shot by the FBI in Gulf Shores, Alabama, during an attempt to arrest him for threatening local and federal officials and attempting to organize an armed militia.  The Repository

  • The Ohio Lottery released the Dec. 16, 2024, drawing results for multiple games, including Powerball, Pick 3, and others.  The Repository
