- ➤ Metalus reached a new tentative four-year agreement with United Steelworkers Local 1123 on Dec. 4, 2025 while extending its union contract until Jan. 29 (covering 1,200 employees). The union will announce the vote date soon. The Repository

- ➤ Superintendent Micki Egli asked the board for a leave until Feb. 1 and will retire from West Branch Local Schools due to stress-related health issues. The board named high school principal Brian Coffee as acting superintendent while it begins the search for a new leader. The Repository
