- ➤ A rumor online claimed that Canton Baptist Temple would close, but Rev. Mike Frazier confirmed that the church had 1,000 Sunday attendees and 500 midweek, proving the claim false. - ➤ Hoover High School opened a new welding lab on Oct 10 funded by a $3.85 million state grant + local partnerships that serves students from North Canton, Plain, Jackson and Lake.
