- ➤ Plain Local Schools held a meeting on Sept. 3 at GlenOak High School to gather public input on whether to renovate or build new K-8 buildings—community members discussed options and cost estimates. Superintendent Brent May said a steering committee will be formed and a preliminary facilities plan will be presented to the board in December or January—setting the stage for future decisions.
