- ➤ Lottery officials announced that the Powerball jackpot is now estimated at $1.3 billion — the fifth-largest prize in the game’s history — after no ticket matched all six numbers. Three tickets sold in Ohio from Canton, Akron and Brunswick won $150K when matching four numbers with the Power Play multiplier and the drawing is held today. FOX 8

- ➤ Under a new federal budget signed in July, Ohio cut SNAP benefits and added work requirements that went into effect on Sept 1, leaving vulnerable groups with less help.
