- ➤ The Goodwill Ken Weber Community Campus in downtown Canton brings many nonprofit groups together so residents get help with job training, food, health care, and parenting support, with over 55,000 people served in 2024. - ➤ Summit Academy named Valerie Hughes as principal of its Secondary School and Sarah Kwasnicka as principal of its Community School—Hughes plans to add a steel band and new electives while Kwasnicka brings four years of experience as an assistant principal. Stark State College reappointed Elaine Russell Reolfi and Fonda P. Williams II to its Board of Trustees with Reolfi chosen as chair, and Mount Union will enroll its first class in a new family nurse practitioner certificate program starting in January.
