  • Farm Credit Mid-America, Rural 1st, and Stark County Fair are partnering for the fifth year to raise food donations for local food banks during the Fight the Hunger, Stock the Trailer contest running from Aug. 26 to Sept. 1.   • 84-year-old George Tsaftarides runs a tailoring shop in Jackson Township and posts on TikTok, but scam artists have used his genuine video clips to trick people out of money — his daughter Daisy said the fake appeals are hurting his reputation while TikTok struggles to stop the fraud — experts say such scams are hard to stop.  The Repository

  • City attorneys said newly provided documents show that Victory Square Apartments was transferred through a drop—and‐swap transaction from Green Victory Square to Lippert Road Apartments LLC — owned by Hannah Brach — and that the new owner is not tied to the former landlord.
