On August 23, some streets in Canton will close at 6:30 a.m. for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Kickoff 6K race — the streets will reopen when the final runner completes the course, but no later than 9:30 a.m.

Felicity Grace King, a 17-year-old girl last seen at 9:10 p.m. on August 18 from her home on Pinetree Avenue NE, is missing and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office has issued an alert across several counties — anyone who sees her should call 911.

A woman was arrested after her 6-to-8-week-old puppy died in a hot car when she went shopping on July 28—the Stark County Sheriff’s Office said the dog had no water or air in 90-degree weather and Tawanna Cox now faces charges of animal cruelty and falsification.
