- ➤ After Friday’s Gold Jacket Dinner, Canton hosts a busy Pro Football Hall of Fame weekend with a Grand Parade beginning at 8 a.m. along Cleveland Avenue and an enshrinement ceremony at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium at 1 p.m. today—Sunday will feature Unscripted and Tailgate at Memorial Civic Center and a Concert for Legends headlined by Nickelback. - ➤ During the NFL preseason Hall of Fame game played Thursday night in Canton, Chargers’ quarterback Trey Lance threw two touchdown passes for 120 yards and led the team to a 34-7 win over the Lions— the game began with a moment of silence for four victims of a recent shooting and saw key players rested.
