- ➤ The Canton region will host a busy week of events as Movie Camp at the McKinley Presidential Library for grades 6–8 runs from July 28 to Aug. 1 plus the Canton City School District holds a Test Drive a School Bus event on July 24 while Anime Fest, outdoor film series, concerts, art workshops and more take place at venues in North Canton, Massillon and Plain Township. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The 2025 Out of Reach report shows that rents in Ohio are rising faster than wages, so full-time workers in Stark County must earn nearly $19 an hour to afford a two-bedroom apartment while many earn about $15.50. The report finds that the gap between wages and the cost of rent has grown 148 percent since 2020 — nearly one in five jobs do not pay enough to cover fair market rent. The Repository
