A 23-year-old Canal Fulton man died in a motorcycle crash on July 13 when his motorcycle left the road on Portage Lakes Drive (at Canova Drive) in Coventry Township and he was pronounced dead at 2:26 a.m.

North Canton police today warned that motorized bikes used unsafely can lead to dangerous crashes after a 12-year-old rider injured his knees and legs when his bike collided with a car on a sidewalk on July 1 — the young rider was cited and a 69-year-old motorist escaped injury — and officers said enforcement will increase to ensure safety.

Relient K, a band with Canton roots, will perform on July 18 at Alive Music Festival at Atwood Lake Park on the Woods Stage.
