Good morning, Canton.

Ohio law now allows consumer fireworks on select holidays including July 3, 4 and 5 (4 to 11 p.m.), and Canton follows state rules with no extra restrictions while residents must be at least 18 and follow safety guidelines; some Stark County towns have banned fireworks.

The 104th Ohio Open Championship will take place at Firestone Country Club in Akron from June 30 to July 2—featuring 288 golfers that include defending champion Drew Salyers and 13 past winners.

Spectators can attend the free event as players compete in 54 holes of stroke play over three courses.

At Browns minicamp in Berea on June 11, coach Kevin Stefanski said the team focused on offseason training while social media fuels discussion over the quarterback competition featuring Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, Shedeur Sanders and Kenny Pickett.

Rookie Sanders said his goal is to learn quickly and be positive — an attitude watched closely by fans — as the team prepares for training camp.
