- ➤ Stark County Common Pleas Court officials warned residents that scammers are impersonating court staff to demand payments and that no payment is required unless a court hearing has taken place + they advised anyone with questions to contact the courthouse at 101 Tuscarawas Street W in Canton. - ➤ State lawmakers approved Avery's Law on June 18 with a 97-0 vote, which increases penalties for dangerous dog owners by raising registration fees, requiring liability insurance, and ordering euthanasia for dogs that cause serious harm—this bill now goes to the Senate for further review.
