- ➤ Waynesburg will dedicate a sign to honor native son Joseph J. Cicchetti — a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient who saved 14 soldiers during World War II. The ceremony takes place at noon tomorrow at the village square. The Repository

- ➤ U.S. Marshals Task Force and Canton Police arrested 42-year-old Floyd Jones—wanted for second-degree murder in Florida—and 52-year-old Angela Parr—wanted for assault—at a home on the 1200 block of Tuscarawas Street east of Canton after a brief standoff; Jones now awaits extradition in Stark County Jail. - ➤ North Canton's Dogwood Pool leaked again after its liner tore in late May, leading city workers to perform unscheduled repairs and restrict swimmer access—officials say the pool has been colder due to both repairs and weather. City leaders will soon review proposals for a long-term parks master plan to secure the pool’s future—further repairs may be needed if issues persist. The Repository
- ➤ More than 400,000 Ohioans had their driver’s license suspensions lifted under a new law—ending suspensions for unpaid court fines and fees. Sen. Catherine Ingram said the law, which took effect on May 9, forgave over $8.3 million in fees and notified 201,024 eligible drivers. FOX 8
