- ➤ Andrew Burton (28-year-old attorney from Schulman, Roth and Associates) was honored as one of Stark County's Twenty under 40! honorees on May 27. He has recovered over $10 million for consumers and serves on the Stark County Humane Society board while mentoring law students. The Repository
- ➤ Canton pastor Walter Moss will be honored on May 31 at 5 p.m. at The Father's House, 3951 Fulton Drive NW in Plain Township for 50 years of ministry that includes missions, community leadership & pro-life activism. The Repository

- ➤ Since July 2025, Family Dollar closed 28 more stores in Ohio amid a nationwide downsizing, making the state second only to Texas in closures. The shutdowns affected major cities (Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Youngstown) as the chain sought to boost profitability in a changing market. The Repository
