- ➤ The three-day Hall of Fame Ribs Burnoff began May 23 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame campus and runs through today with eight pitmasters competing for cash prizes, live music performances and enshrinee appearances unveiling the Class of 2025 exhibit. Admission is free and one dollar from each alcoholic beverage sold will be donated to Wreaths Across America—parking is available for $10 in designated lots as roads close to manage the event. - ➤ At the Hoover Division I district meet on Friday, Hoover's Zavier Medina, Green's Eric Dando, and GlenOak's Ryan Bridenthal led a pack of 3,200 athletes—helping boost their teams' efforts during the race. The Repository
- ➤ Green High School ended its district title drought with an 8-3 win over Nordonia on May 23 at Willig Park in Canton, with sophomore pitcher Annie Liszewski recording 15 strikeouts in a complete game.
