  • Denver Moore—104-year-old World War II veteran—was honored with a parade and party in Canal Fulton as local veterans and residents gathered to thank him for his service despite recent storm challenges. Moore, who worked as a postal worker in Canton and served as a link trainer with the U.S. Army Air Corps, received heartfelt tributes during the two-mile route from the Giant Eagle parking lot to the SAM Center.  The Repository

  • During Memorial Day weekend, Ace Hardware will give away free American flags from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 at local stores, offering summer savings on grills, tools and outdoor equipment through Monday, May 26 + the event honors those who served.  The Repository
