- ➤ Daryl Robinson, a former Players Guild actor, is now executive director and will lead the theater while honoring its traditions. The show season closes with Matilda the Musical on weekends starting May 15 and launches a new schedule with shows at Kent State (on the Stark campus) on Sept 11. The Repository
- ➤ 13-year-old Ava Kimble stars as the lead in 'Matilda the Musical' at Players Guild Theatre on Kent State University's campus in Jackson Township. The show runs on weekends from May 15 to 31 at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. on Sundays (tickets cost $25 to $45). The Repository
- ➤ Rising country music artist Braxton Keith (talented) will open for Lainey Wilson at the Raising Cane's Concert for Legends on Aug. 9 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton. He releases his debut album on May 15 as part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival. The Repository
