- ➤ Canton police are searching for the parents of a 3-year-old boy who died early May at 3125 Gilbert Cir. NE after he was found not breathing on May 5; Demetres Givens (42) and Jamie Thompson (37) face charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children with arrest warrants issued on May 9. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A two-minute video features 39 different sights and sounds from across Stark County, captured on May 7 and May 8—dates that highlight local life during spring. It shows everyday moments that reveal the quiet culture of the area. The Repository
- ➤ The Canton Classic Car Museum in downtown Canton shows vintage vehicles and many old memorabilia items — including a locally built 1922 car and one nicknamed possibly America’s ugliest car. The museum at 123 Sixth St. SW updated its lighting and display layout — letting visitors get a close look at its historic collection. The Repository
