- ➤ Skeletal remains found last week in an Akron homeless encampment were identified Monday as 22-year-old Xavier Menefee of Canton — investigators say police located the remains after a 4:47 p.m. Friday report of a fight and will continue examining the scene. The Repository
- ➤ Uniontown police said a 68-year-old Mogadore man was shot after a dispute inside an Uber vehicle by a 35-year-old Akron driver on the 600 block of Pontius Road in Lake Twp at 12:15 a.m. Saturday—he was taken to Summa Health System Akron Campus with injuries that were not life-threatening as the investigation continues.
