- ➤ Letter Carrier Union Branch 238 will host a fish fry dinner on May 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the McKinley Eagles Club to support the Tim Triner Scholarship Fund, featuring fish, salad + pop; tickets cost $25 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. The Repository
- ➤ The Stark County Sheriff’s Office, Louisville Police Department and Veterans Service Commission are hosting a food drive in May to support veterans at the Honor Home in Canton by accepting non-perishable items at four designated drop-off locations. The Repository

- ➤ Deerfield Avenue NW in Lawrence Township will close for five days beginning April 27 for culvert repair work — crews will replace the structure and drivers should follow a detour via Marshallville Street, State Route 21, State Route 93 and Orrville Street NW. The Repository
