- ➤ Local company G & D Fab (run by Gordon and Dylan Loader) has finished assembling a 170-ton tunnel boring shield on a concrete pad behind its Southway Street shop in Perry Township for the $16 billion Hudson Tunnel Project; the shield will be trucked to New York and reassembled underground. - ➤ A portion of Ninth Street NW, from Market Ave N to Cleveland Ave NW, will close from 3:30 to 9 p.m. on April 24 for the EN-RICH-MENT Arts Education Center's multi-day HBCU-style event at 901 Market Ave N, which will feature history and high-energy performances. The Repository
