- ➤ Hartville-based GentleBrook Inc. appointed James L. Miller as its new CEO on Wednesday, Apr. 8 at 10:18 a.m. Miller, a local resident who previously led senior services, succeeds Norman Wengerd after an 18-year tenure. The Repository
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Keith Bucklew, the new executive director at MAPS Air Museum, welcomed his former Harrier fighter jet (a reminder of his combat flying days) on April 8, and the jet will soon undergo minor restoration to support educational programs and community events. The Repository
- ➤ The Canton Jewish Community Federation will host Holocaust Remembrance Day on April 13 at 6 p.m. at Beit Ha'am (432 30th St. NW). Advance reservations are required by 5 p.m. April 10. The Repository

- ➤ Laura Duda (a Fortune 500 executive and former Goodyear senior VP) will join Stark State College on Monday, April 13, as its new vice president of strategy and engagement. - ➤ Crews from the county Engineering Office are repairing a waterline on 30th Street NW today for two days; eastbound lanes from Harvard Avenue to Market Avenue are closed and westbound lanes are limited to one lane (detours will be posted). The Repository

- ➤ Canton City Public Health finished a $2.7 million renovation that added office space for more than 70 employees and improved patient services, and held an open house on Apr. 8 (3 to 5 p.m.) at 420 Market Ave. N to showcase the changes. The Repository
