- ➤ Faith Bible Church got approval from Canton City Council to use a building in northwest Canton for monthly free giveaways of clothing, baby and household items; the church will have a grand opening on May 24 from 9 a.m. to noon—future services will also include parenting classes and counseling. BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Canton City Council approved tax incentives on Monday to help Hilscher-Clarke move its headquarters into the old Canton Brewing building on Market Ave and expand its space on Fourth St NW. The programs include a 10-year property tax break that forgives 75% of extra taxes on renovated buildings and a job creation incentive worth $1.5 million, with the project expected to cost nearly $3.8 million and create up to 100 full-time jobs.
