- ➤ The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown will welcome 282 new converts at Easter (a net increase of 90 from last year), continuing a trend of growing Catholic membership. Parishes and experts credit a Eucharistic revival and the election of Pope Leo for sparking renewed faith in the community. The Repository
- ➤ Raising Cane’s will sponsor the Concert for Legends on Aug. 9 featuring country singer Lainey Wilson during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival. The chain will also back Sugardale Fan Fest’s stage from Aug. 5 — 9 near the Hall campus. The Repository

- ➤ The 82nd Annual Stark County Amateur Basketball Association Hall of Fame banquet will be held Wednesday, May 20 at Tozzi's on 12th Street in Canton, with doors opening at 5 p.m. & the banquet beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $50 and reservations close April 20. The Repository
- ➤ Tuslaw’s Isabel McCune and McKinley’s Brady Altland were named Stark County High School Athlete of the Week for March 23-29 based on votes cast, with McCune receiving 36.12% and Altland 43.09% from a total of 2,126 votes. The Repository
- ➤ The Massillon Tiger Sharks Hall of Fame will induct three legendary high school aquatics coaches on Wednesday, April 8, at 6 p.m. at the Massillon Women’s Club. Bob Wherry + Terry Ridgley will be honored posthumously while Dave Rotthoff is recognized for his long career. The Repository
