- ➤ GlenOak principal Gayle Kimbrough was named Plain Local's assistant superintendent—succeeding Brian Matthews who will retire at the end of the school year. The district board approved her appointment and named GlenOak deputy principal Brett Niarchos as the new principal at a Wednesday evening meeting at Avondale Elementary. The Repository
- ➤ North Canton City Schools approved a three-year tentative agreement with the North Canton Education Association that gives teachers a 3% raise each year with no benefit changes, effective from July 1 through June 30, 2028. The board also approved three-year contracts for key administrators and authorized purchases including Chromebooks, replacement theatre seats, and a rubber surface playground—moves that support school improvements.
