ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Monday night a train hit a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport after its driver went around the crossing gates in Canton— dragging the car about 200 feet near Fifth Street NE and Young Avenue NE— and there were no injuries or major damage reported.  The Repository
  • After Reed Hostetler died on March 5 when his tractor overturned into a manure pit on his family dairy farm near Marshallville, friends and neighbors gathered at the barn to hold his funeral while helping his wife Abby with meals, childcare, and a GoFundMe campaign as she urges farmers to review safety practices—this strong community response supports the Hostetler family as they cope with their loss.  The Repository

  • Today at 6 p.m., a pep rally is held at Perry High School gym — the Panthers beat North Royalton 66-63 to reach their first state championship game. They will face Westerville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at University of Dayton Arena.  The Repository
