  • On Wednesday, Feb. 18, the Ohio Lottery drawing produced no jackpot winner but awarded thousands of smaller prizes including a $50K win. The jackpot climbs to $190 million for today's drawing at 10:59 p.m. (cash option $89.1 million).  WKYC

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Metallus reported fourth-quarter sales of $267.3 million and a net loss of $14.3 million on Feb. 20, marking an improvement from the previous year. The company ratified a four-year labor contract for 1,200 employees (with a 5% annual raise) and expects to boost production with new assets this year.  The Repository

  • Gervasi Destinations in Canton will appear on Netflix’s Love Is Blind with an episode streaming on Feb. 25 that features a key date for an Ohio couple and special wine glasses available at The Marketplace. Officials say the exposure highlights the resort’s unique charm.  The Repository
  • On Tuesday, March 3, a total lunar eclipse will occur as the worm moon rises reddish in Earth's shadow; the eclipse starts at 3:44 a.m. and ends at 9:23 a.m. Stargazers at Fry Family Park (Magnolia, 10 miles south of Canton) will enjoy this celestial event.  The Repository

  • The Stop Heroin from Killing Committee is hosting its 11th annual Opiate Symposium on Feb. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Nash Event and Conference Center at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, featuring speakers sharing recovery journeys and discussing a new potent veterinary sedative called medetomidine.  The Repository

  • Erin Kaufman scored 33 points and grabbed a key steal in the final seconds to lead Malone to a 71-66 win over Ashland, completing their regular season sweep.  The Repository
  • Kai Kocher (Louisville) and Dannie Warren (Jackson) were named Stark County High School Athlete of the Week for Feb. 9 to 15 after receiving 38.80% and 51.35% of over 47,000 votes. More details will be featured next Tuesday.  The Repository
