- ➤ Massillon Museum has the Heart Gallery art exhibition showing local portraits of children awaiting adoption (organized by Stark County Job and Family Services) open through March 1. The exhibit is viewable during museum hours, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Repository
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Inter-Valley Conference announced on Monday, Feb. 16 that it is seeking new member schools for the 2028-29 school year after several schools joined a new league. Schools interested in competing must send a formal letter to IVC President Rob Clarke (deadline March 8). The Repository
- ➤ Timken Co. awarded 20 scholarships on Feb. 12 as part of its Global Scholars Program — a total of $27 million invested in education since 1958. The awards include the Henry Timken Scholar Award for Cader Payne Beitler and the Jack Timken Scholar Award for Frederick Song. The Repository
