- ➤ No one won the $86 million Powerball jackpot on Jan. 5, but several players across Ohio, including a $1 million winner in Canton, claimed smaller prizes. The jackpot climbs to $105 million for the drawing today at 10:59 p.m. WKYC
- ➤ 720 Market will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a Valentine’s Day event on Feb. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tremont Coffee in Massillon — additional seasonal market events will follow later this year. The Repository
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Canton City Schools plan to consolidate buildings, redraw attendance zones, and adjust staffing to curb a $17 million budget deficit projected by 2028. The changes include replacing Worley Elementary with Timken Elementary and may bring an operating levy on the November ballot, with the final plan due by Jan. 26. The Repository
